Start here

Know it in five minutes.

Six things to be able to say without looking. Read them once in the truck.

01

What it is.

Finished TV menu boards, a QR menu and print menus, all from one menu the owner changes on their phone.

02

What the account pays.

Your program’s price. Ask your manager, then say the number. Full-pay programs: $0 a month. Never say “free” unless it’s $0.

03

What you do.

Get the yes, then send us the account at justamenu.com/enroll. We take it from there, so you never set up a menu alone.

04

What the owner does after.

Changes prices, specials and sold-out items from their phone. The TVs, the QR menu and the print files update.

05

What you get.

Your drinks on the board, a reason to come back, and an account that’s hard to switch.

06

Where to get help.

Click Instructions at the top right of any page in JAM. Or see Help, at the bottom of this page.

They get new menu boards. You get the account.

The whole pitch, in one line

Read the full playbook →

Who to pitch

Pitch these accounts first.

The best accounts already feel the pain: menus they can’t keep current, TVs doing nothing, or a cooler you want back.

Pitch first

  • ✓Paper, whiteboard or taped-up menus
  • ✓Price stickers, crossed-out items, “sold out” signs
  • ✓TVs on the wall showing nothing, or a slideshow
  • ✓A competitor account you want to win, or competitor product in your cooler
  • ✓Already paying for a digital menu (ask how much)

Also a great fit

  • ✓Pizzerias, taquerias, wing, burger and cheesesteak shops, cafés: we have real installs for each (see Proof)
  • ✓A line at the counter: the QR menu lets guests decide before they reach the register
  • ✓Specials and combos they want to push
  • ✓Seasonal stands, pop-ups and events: an account can switch on for the season, or for set dates
  • ✓Campuses, stadiums and venues with many stands
  • ✓Two or more locations: one Master Menu for all of them

Ask first

  • ?National chains whose boards come from corporate
  • ?No TVs yet: start with the QR menu and print menus
  • ?They want online ordering or a new POS: Just a Menu isn’t either
  • ?They want a POS other than Square, Toast, Oracle or Clover to update the boards: only those four sync today
A printed black menu board with prices written on stickers

What to look for: price stickers on a printed board

Qualify in two minutes

Five questions that tell you if it’s a fit.

  • 1How do you change a price today? (Any answer with “reprint”, “sticker” or “marker” is a yes.)
  • 2Do you have TVs up front? How many? (Any TV with HDMI works; one JAM Player per TV.)
  • 3Who changes the menu here? (That’s who you hand it to.)
  • 4Are you paying for anything menu-related now? A digital menu, a designer, printing.
  • 5Which dish sells best? (That’s the combo you’ll build with your drink.)

Three yeses: pitch it now. The full list is in the playbook.

All discovery questions →

The pitch

Say it in 30 seconds.

“I noticed you’re still changing prices by hand. For accounts like yours, we offer custom digital menu boards at special pricing, and we pay [all / part] of it: the TV boards, a QR menu for your tables and print menus, all from one menu. You change a price on your phone and it’s live everywhere. I set it up. All I need today is a photo of your menu. Can I show you one in a store like yours?”

Change the first line to what you see: paper menus, a whiteboard, blank TVs.

Pizzerias

The owner who calls Coke a partner.

For managers

Roll it out. See who’s rolling.

Every rep’s accounts show up in one report: outlets created, activated, operational, and no longer operational, by month or all time, with a CSV export. Reassign accounts when territories change, and see every JAM Player in your accounts.

  • ✓Set a first goal. Five installs per rep. The first ones are the slowest.
  • ✓Pair new reps with a power user. Ride-alongs beat training decks.
  • ✓Post a monthly board. Export the per-rep CSV and share the top three. (It’s a report, not an in-app leaderboard.)
  • ✓Use the office hours. Your reps can bring a real account and get help on it.

“Retention is 100%. As long as I’m visiting the customer and still building that relationship, I have not seen them stray away.”

Who pays for it?

Your bottler’s program. Some programs cover the full cost; others cover part. Ask your manager what your accounts pay, and say the number.

How long does an install take?

Under 30 minutes, once the boards are built. Send the account to us at justamenu.com/enroll and we build them, or build them at your desk with the quick start guide.

What does the account need?

A TV with an HDMI port for each screen, a JAM Player for each TV, and business Wi-Fi.

How do I get JAM Players?

Order them through the Coca-Cola POS Store, one per TV. A 2-screen layout needs 2 players.

What’s in the box?

The JAM Player, a power adapter, an HDMI cable and a quick start guide.

The owner didn’t finish signing up.

The handover link works for 7 days. After that, go to Share Outlet and send a new one.

Do I keep access after the handover?

Yes. You stay in “People with access” so you can help later, unless the access is removed.

Can the owner move or cover our logo?

Not the parts your brand team locks with Designer Lock. They can change their food, prices, fonts, backgrounds and photos.

They use Square, Toast, Oracle or Clover. Does it connect?

Yes. The owner connects it once in POS Integrations, and items, prices and sold-out items update automatically, about every hour, or right away with Sync menu now. Toast, Oracle and Clover work the same way.

Their menu has sizes, like small, medium, large.

The photo import reads sizes and prices. Check them in the Imported Menu Preview before you accept.

It’s a seasonal stand or an event.

Use Seasonal (switches on and off on the same dates every year) or Temporary (set dates).

They have more than one location.

One Master Menu can feed every location, and each store keeps its own sold-out items. Talk to support before you set up a group.

Can I show this page to an owner?

Show them show mode instead: /saleshub-demo. This page is for you.

What if the Wi-Fi goes down?

Don’t promise anything yet. Say the players run on their business Wi-Fi, and guests can always open the QR menu on their phone.
