Can I use Oracle for my digital menu boards?
Yes. Connect Oracle to Just a Menu and your Oracle menu runs your TV menu boards, QR menu and print menus. Change it in Oracle, and every screen follows.
How often does it sync?
Some POS systems sync instantly, others take a bit longer, depending on your POS. Either way it’s automatic. You never have to open Just a Menu.
What happens when something sells out in Oracle?
86 it in Oracle and it’s marked sold out automatically. Your TV boards show “Sold Out”, and your QR menu hides it or grays it out. Bring it back in Oracle, and it comes back.
Can I still edit my menu in Just a Menu?
Yes. Add allergy notes, rewrite descriptions and add specials Oracle doesn’t have. The sync keeps names, prices and sold out in step with Oracle, and never touches items you add yourself.
Does it work for more than one location?
Yes. A restaurant group syncs its master menu from Oracle, and each store keeps its own sold-out items, plus its own prices if the group allows it. See multiple locations.
Does Just a Menu change anything in Oracle?
No. It asks Oracle for read-only access to your menu and orders, and never writes anything back.
Do modifiers and descriptions come across?
Not today. Items, categories, sizes, prices, photos and sold out come from Oracle. Write descriptions in Just a Menu, and they stay put.
